Spiritual Self Evaluation Test

It is very important to answer the questions honestly as it realistically describes your thoughts and actions.

1. Have you ever prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Personal savior and Lord?
Yes
No*
*If your answer to question 1 is "No" there is no need to go further as this test places spiritual maturity. Without first accepting Christ there can be no spiritual maturity.


2. After receiving Christ as my personal Savior and Lord ....
I behave in ways the Bible says are wrong but it really does not bother me.
I feel bad when I continue to behave in ways the Bible say are wrong but I don’t change.
Sometimes I stop myself from doing something the Bible says is wrong and choose not to do it.
I am living a victorious life and when I do stumble I am quick to repent.
Not that I’ve accomplished all this but the Lord has matured me to grow in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.


3. After receiving Christ as my personal Savior and Lord....
I don't feel the need to read the Bible, pray or worship God.
Going to church on Sunday is where I get fed spiritually .
I need more than church on Sunday, but I’m not consistent in personal devotions.
I have taken personal responsibility for my relationship with the Lord. I have regular personal *devotional time.
I have taken responsibility for my relationship with the Lord through regular devotions and I am committed to helping others grow as well.

*Devotional time can include: bible study, prayer or personal worship or all three at one setting.


4. After receiving Christ as my personal Savior and Lord....
I really don't have an interest in sharing my faith with others.
I have an interest but I never have.
I have a growing burden to sharing my faith but really don't know what to say.
Sharing my faith is getting easier and I feel that it is important.
I feel that it is very important to share my faith and I try to do it often.

5. After receiving Christ as my personal Savior and Lord....
My closest friends are unbelievers.
I have two circles of friends, believers and non-believers.
I realize some of my non-believing friends are bad influences.
I still see some of my unsaved friends but my close friends are believers.
I see some unsaved friends because they respect my decision to follow Christ.


6. After receiving Christ as my personal Savior and Lord....
I don’t see the importance of church, they just want your money.
Sometimes I give a few dollars in the offering if I enjoy the service .
I frequently give money in the offering.
I not only give money, but I also donate my time to ministry.
I consistently give my first fruits which includes time, money and resources.
